It's been a couple of days since I've written anything here. A couple of nights ago, I rode the black horse. We were first out, I got a late start on our steer and reached. We ended up being 4.4, and then the round got really fast. Four flat was last hole. Then last night, I roped our steer and didn't get the handle on him that I wanted. Jade ended up with a leg on him. Tonight, I'm going to get back on the gray horse. The steers are pretty good tonight, so it should be another fast round. There's still a lot of money to be won, just gotta be fast to get it. So we're going to run at em. Thanks for following my blog. Take care!

Well, we were 4.3 last night, and we ended winning 4th in the round. It was kind of tough to get dallied, but the run felt like one of the best runs I've made in a long time. I really like the gray horse, but I'm really comfortable on the black horse. So, I'm going to stay on the black horse. Tonight should be another good pen of steers like last night. In the past, it seemed like there was a pen of good ones, a pen of runners, and a pen with some tougher steers. This year, it seems like they're kind of scattered through each of the pens, and when you get one of the ones that doesn't start, that's when it gets tougher to get a good go.
I'll be signing autographs tomorrow from 10-12 at the LubriSyn Booth at Mandalay Bay, and then I'll be at the Cactus Booth at the Convention Center from 1-2. Thanks for following my blog. Talk to you tomorrow. Take care.

Yesterday, I got a pretty good roll at our steer. We ended up with a leg, but still ended up winning 4th in what turned out to be a pretty soft round. Right now, only two teams have roped all their steers, so the average is still pretty wide open. We'll just keep running at our steers and doing what we can on them. I'm going to ride Jade's black horse, Warthog, that he got from Britt Williams, tonight.
I won't be signing anywhere tomorrow. Thanks for following my blog. Take care.

Last night didn't go as planned. We ended up taking a no time. I don't think it will totally take us out of the average, but it's not quite what we had in mind coming in. We can still make some good runs and maybe place deep in the average somewhere. I'll be back on the gray and trying to make snappy, quick runs. Thanks for stopping in to check out my blog.

I got the barrier last night, but Buckwheat worked well, so I'm going to stay on him for tomorrow. He is a little more free than Cody, and I feel like I get a good shot at the steer and have the best chance of winning on him.
I won't be signing any autographs tomorrow, because the perf is in the afternoon. I'll be back to signing on Monday, though. Thanks for following my blog, and take care!

Last night, I rode Cody. Our steer last night pushed right, Cody was starting his move, and then I had to kick back over to the steer and make sure I got him roped to stay in the average. Cody's a great horse and has been good to me, but he knows the play here too well. So I'm going to get on Joe's gray horse tonight.
Tomorrow, I'll be signing autographs at the Ariat Booth at the Sands from 12-1, and I'll be at the Wrangler Booth at the Convention Center from 1:30-2:30. Thanks for following my blog, and take care.

Well, tonight is the first night, and I'm going to ride Cody. I'm just going to ride him like I do at the US Finals and go after the steer instead of looking for a throw. I feel really confident on him this year, and I plan to start on Cody and finish on him. If I need too, though, I also brought a horse of Jade's, Warthog, and a gray horse of Joe Beaver's, Buckwheat.
The steers this year are a little smaller than they have been in the past. They should be pretty good to get a start on but might change throughout the week. That's another reason I'm planning on staying on Cody, he's my horse, I know how he reacts, how he scores, and I don't need to have someone telling me I need to ride him one way or another.
I'll be signing autographs tomorrow at the Cactus Booth, at the Convention Center, from 12-1, and I may stop in and sign some at the Rodeo Rigs Booth, as well, from 11-12. Stop by, and say hello.
Thanks for following my blog. Take care!
